Every recipe for a delicious meal is built around a core item. A chicken breast alone, can do the job, but it is not nearly as successful as chicken breast with lemon caper sauce, grilled asparagus, and angel hair pasta. It is the combination of all the components of the recipe that make it a winning combination.
WIKUS is very fortunate to have a customer service team with a solid core, built on over 30 years of combined experience! Heather Izewski and Sandy Trainor are the veterans on the customer service team with 19 and 18 years of experience respectively.
In 2021, WIKUS set out with a plan to build a successful team, based on that solid core foundation.
In July 2021, Karla Boyzo joined the customer service team. Karla is the veteran of the newbies. After only nine months of experience on the team, Karla has already stepped up into training of new team members.
In September 2021, Jason (Jay) Maloney came on board. Jay has learned many things in only six months at WIKUS. Jay specializes in communicating with customers. When a customer calls in, there is a very good chance that they will have the pleasure of speaking with Jay. In October 2021, Paola Romero was welcomed on the WIKUS customer service team. Because of her energy and eagerness to take on as many new things as possible, Paola has become a solid contributor on the team. Special congratulations to Paola on becoming a new mom in March! The team misses her contributions and looks forward to her return in July.
In January 2022, Diego Ramirez joined the customer service team. Diego has learned very quickly in just three short months being with WIKUS. Diego has stepped up to assist with some of our Mexican customers and has offered some new ideas to the team, on ways to improve some existing processes.
Starting in April 2022, Nash Roman is the newest member of the customer service team. Nash looks forward to completing her training and is excited to be able to contribute to the team and assist customers very soon.
The WIKUS customer service team is a vital aspect of the daily business operations. Members of the WIKUS customer service team can multi-task, are detail orientated and communicate well. A typical day for a customer service team member, involves processing customer orders, as well as answering customer inquiries for pricing, product availability and order status. Customer service is instrumental in educating the customer, helping them navigate the WIKUS processes, and advocating on the customer’s behalf.
WIKUS is excited for the current customer team, guided by the experience of the veterans, with the input of new energy and fresh perspective of the newer members.
WIKUS continues to focus on building our customer service team. Just like that lemon chicken recipe, we are working on perfecting our own customer service recipe. Always on the hunt for new talent that compliments the team, WIKUS strives to continue to provide a winning combination, to enhance the customer service experience for our customers.
