Annual Kick Off Sales Meeting

During the month of January we had our annual kick off meeting in the not so frigid Chicago. For the meeting, the entire WIKUS team from the US and Mexico came together at our headquarters, to launch the new decade with exciting new plans, goals, and targets.

The familiar setting, was a good opportunity for the team to meet new colleagues in person, and allowed them to see the further optimization we had done in Q3 and Q4 of 2019 in the office and assembly landscape in Addison.

Georgi Jossifov kicked off our meeting, to report that we had another successful year, with growth in 2019. He presented numerous KPIs, that reflected on what worked well and what needed to improve. Every team member’s presentation was skillfully designed to transfer their knowledge to the team and provide insight into their territories. An inspiring sight to see this diverse group, with this enormous eagerness to win and learn from each other. A dynamical and systematic group that thrives on each other’s experiences and success. The team proactively discussed challenges to initiate measures to make them all opportunities. The outlook from every territory flowed seamlessly into Georgi Jossifov’s outlook for the coming years.

With our goals set high there is a lot to be done. To do so, he confirmed that we will dive even deeper into the market segments we already have a strong presence in and will selectively enter new growth markets. Further empathizing that to succeed, we need simple structures and processes that we can adapt fast, identify with new technologies, as we grow together with existing and new customers. New markets and the strive to intensify in the existing, will require us to emphasize our attention to retention and recruitment of employees that will support, further develop and innovate, as the needs of customers evolve. Whereas the solutions will be based on the team’s close customer relationship and insight.

At the meeting an ample amount of time was given for technical training. For the first time we had the entire North American team participate in such a training from Mr. Mike Masters. The assembled WIKUS team in Addison and per video the WIKUS Canada team, were educated on the new products, tech training, case studies and global success stories. The meeting was rounded off with the entire Wikus team (Production, Customer Service, Administration, etc) meeting to participate in the awareness workshop that reiterates the importance and quality expectations from everyone’s task, and how their actions impact the WIKUS perception in the marketplace. The expectations for the meeting to intensify collaboration within the group by sharing knowledge from application, product training, launches and negotiations, to various team workshops was certainly met.
