For the third time in a row, WIKUS has received the “Innovativ durch Forschung” seal of quality, awarded by the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft (Founder Association for German Science) for research and development work.

Companies that have made a significant contribution as a driver of innovation for Germany as a high-tech country through their research and development are honored and rewarded with this seal of quality by the Stifter-verband. “We are delighted that we have received this
award for the third time in 2018, following on from 2014 and 2016.

This award demonstrates that we as technology leaders in the fi eld of band saw manufacturing are engaging in excellent research and development and through constant innovation and ongoing development, we are able to come up with solutions for our customers”, underlines Dr. Patrick Gleim, Head of Research and Development.

“We are investing millions every year into research and development in order to maintain and expand our status as technology leader and into launching customer-targeted product innovations into the market”. Alongside internal research and development, WIKUS collaborates with numerous universities, research institutions, and suppliers / business partners.
