With new goals and targets we kicked off the year strong, and during the third week of January we held our sales meeting in frigid Chicago, at our headquarters in Addison.
It was an opportunity for the external and internal teams to meet, and to welcome 4 new colleagues that have already started to make an impact during the latter half of 2018. Leading up to the meeting, several of the participants had mentioned, that they would love to have several workshops on specific subjects, and visit to industry partners to solidify their knowledge and skills. The meeting for the US and Mexican team, was designed to focus on application solutions, product training, product launch and the requested workshops that focused on topics as added value & opening presentations. We reviewed last year’s achievements and set the roadmap and expectations for the coming months. Furthermore, we had the pleasure to visit a band saw machine manufacturer and learn about products and solutions they offer to the industrial market.
Each member of the technical team presented application examples, preventative maintenance tricks and tips, as well as cutting parameter optimization. While the sales team presented to their colleagues their territory success stories in detail, outlook and targets for the coming quarters. Introduced were digital technologies that will soon be launched, these are a new email and CRM client, that will further improve our organizational communication and be at the forefront for our activities. This will benefit not only the user but also you as our valued customer.
Michael Masters, introduced the new PRIMAR® with all its advantages and purpose for application with great excitement, a product that will open new avenues to even more success. The entire Wikus team (Production, Customer Service, Administration, etc) participated in an awareness workshop that reiterated the importance and quality expectations for everyone’s task, and how they impact the WIKUS perception in the marketplace. There was a good amount of time for open dialogue among the peers to learn from each other.
