I am delighted to present to you, the first edition of the WIKUS Saw Technology newsletter. We intend to keep you informed about the exciting developments at WIKUS and to share with you educational information, helpful hints and tips, articles, events and news. We want you to enjoy our newsletters, several times a year. We want this newsletter to be valuable for you so please share your feedback and suggestion to help us improve.
In this first newsletter I would like to take the opportunity to introduce to you again the Wikus USA family:
For many years, Wikus has been a brand name in the US market. The first steps were made in 1983 when the first authorized representative introduced the Wikus brand to the US industrial markets. As sales and presence grew Wikus established the subsidiary Wikus Saw Technology, Corp. Today we have two locations: Addison, IL and Santa Fe Springs, CA, that are equipped with the latest state of the art welding stations and a total of approximately 30,000 sq.ft. of warehousing and office space. Our presence has promoted the Wikus brand as the solution leader through offering quality products, solutions, consistency and service.
In the past year we have made large strides in shaping our organization, processes and identifying many opportunities that we will further or target. We are advancing the organization, so that we are prepared to maintain and further expand our competitive advantage in the US market. Topics such as marketing, promotions, national contracts, added value, organizational structure, market penetration, diversification, sales channels, creation of business metrics, recruitment & personnel, assembly, are at the forefront today. Addressing them today and implementing solutions will setup Wikus Saw Technology, to increase our traction to capitalize on opportunities today and in the future.
Our distribution partners around the country are strategic alliances and relationships to enable us to access local markets and attract customers that seek our premium products. It is therefore, that we are actively involved in knowledge transfer, marketing, sales and technical support to provide the winning solution to our partners.
The Wikus brand is well known in the USA, just as anywhere else in the world, for Precision and Quality. We compliment that by sustainable partnerships with customers, resellers and partners; offering solutions based on the application, and our added value. The success is based on the professionalism and high standards that we have set for ourselves throughout the Wikus organization globally.
We pride ourselves that, the Wikus USA family today, has combined over 290 years of experience in the Band Saw Blade Industry (Sales, Technical and Administrative Personnel), that makes us equal to non-other to provide the right guidance and solutions for cutting processes in the US industrial markets. It is my pleasure to work with an experienced team of colleagues that understand the business and are hungry for growth and progress. The growth and goals that we have set for the US, also requires us to recruit new talent that we will equip with tools, processes and procedures that are essential in attaining our goals. In 2018, Mohammed Tungara has joined the Sales team to further reinforce our efforts.
