Our team at Wikus Saw is our most treasured resource and asset. They are the ones that transmit and portray what Wikus stands for. The years of experience within our team are a statement to consistency and reconfirm our commitment in valuing all employees at Wikus. Our team is the face of Wikus!
We are very fortunate to work with people, who are more than just colleagues, they are our Wikus family. With each issue of our newsletter, we want to introduce to you a Wikus Saw team member. In this fi rst issue please allow us to present, Heather Izewski, Customer Service Representative.
Heather is one of the younger veterans of our team, but interestingly enough, is considered an old timer with her 15 years of service at
Wikus Saw! Heather is in her mid 30’s and has been working at Wikus for half of her life. She started as a part time employee, while still a
high school student, and came on board as full time employee after graduating high school. Heather has never looked back!
In her role as Customer Service Representative, Heather takes care of a variety of customer’s needs, from processing new orders to assuring that material is in stock to produce those orders. Over the years she has developed to being the lead on managing our supply
chain. In this additional role, she manages the inventory levels at both facilities in Addison and Santa Fe Springs, communicates with
our counterparts in Germany, and leads the inbound communication with suppliers that are part of the product supply chain (i.e. shipping & customs brokers). Furthermore, her helpful oriented nature, dedication to Wikus family and hard work, make it easy for Heather to excel in her role as a CSR. Heather is also the go-to person for any Wikus history. If you can’t remember something, ask Heather!
When Heather is not at her Wikus home, she is working hard being a mom to her daughter Madi. She loves spending time with Madi, enjoys spending time outdoors, shopping, cooking, watching crime shows and listening to music, with country music being her favorite. Heather is a huge sports fan and loves traveling. Her favorite foods are Mexican and Italian, with onions and mushrooms being at
the very bottom.
We hope you enjoyed getting to know Heather! Heather would love to meet all of you. If you are traveling to the IMTS 2018 in Chicago this September, you are sincerely invited to visit our facility just a few miles away from downtown. We will have open doors for visitors the entire week, Sept. 10 -15, 2018. Our team is excited for the opportunity to meet you, show you what we are all about and most importantly to say thank you! So please put some time aside and come out.
Please let your Regional Sales Manager know what day you will be coming to Wikus Saw Technology in Addison. We are looking forward to welcoming you in person!
