This January, our sales and technical team had the opportunity to hold our first sales meeting of the year in Orlando, Florida. Our team has even further grown since the last meeting in July of 2021. We focused on topics that foster team building, brainstorming, training, territory planning, motivation, strategizing, and all that also in an environment that would facilitate and accommodate our group. Hence, Orlando certainly was a great choice for the month of January!
On the first day the sales and technical team had a chance to welcome back again “Mister Manners”. Thomas Farley aka “Mister Manners” quickly managed to break the ice, and kicked off the day with easing into the mastery of powerful presentations. Through various hands on examples and challenges the team quickly caught on to the details and skills that will further their presentation. The team was eager to absorb, and quickly engaged by working in groups, and challenging each other with the newly learned/recognized strategies. Through practice opportunities the team incorporated skills to deliver a message that will sizzle and never snooze.
On the following day we had the chance to officially welcome our special guest, from our Headquarters in Spangenberg, Germany, Mr. Michael Moeller CEO – of the global group. A long overdue visit that gave the opportunity find out much about the global developments and an insight into the future of WIKUS. Mr. Moellers’s visit inspired the team to push to new heights as we grow our market share with solution focused products. Two full days allowed the technical and commercial team to review the prior 2021 accomplishments and focused in on their goals for 2022. Well established plans were presented, plans that carved roadmaps on how to achieve our ambitious growth goals. The US and Mexican team participated in workshops that further sharpened various techniques that are of value for WIKUS customers. The numerous exchanges and presentations allowed the team to gather application and solution insights. News from marketing, merchandising, organizational processes, digital technologies, and other tools were also on the agenda as they shall support the brand recognition and engage more with you our dear distribution partners and customers. Be sure to ask your counterpart what these entail.
It was a successful meeting, that formed and shaped the group, and left all with great memories and quest to achieve. An even bigger team, with tremendous team and collegial spirit! They are highly motivated to be your solutions and to jointly face the sawing challenges of tomorrow together with you! Make sure you ask them how we can make history together!
