In addition to engineering and developing new products for our portfolio of solutions, Wikus is constantly researching, developing and implementing process improvements to our existing products in order to enhance their performance and longevity.

We would like to share with you some of those recent improvements.

Many of you have already seen that our Marathon M42 has a new, cleaner look and our Wikus logo with a QR code to identify which Wikus product is being used. This QR code is not only
beneficial to the customer for reordering by item description but gives them the opportunity to scan that specific products QR code into our online Paramaster application for cutting parameters using that blade. Download the App onto your cell phone or tablet and take advantage of delivering reliable recommendations to your end users.

Our data base is continuously updated with new machines and materials to give you the answers for your cutting applications. There’s no need to limit yourself on recommendations using an
old slide chart when you have up to date information at your fingertips. And if for some reason your machine isn’t listed, let us know and we will add it into the program.

Following the Marathon M42, our Vario M42 and Profl ex M42 will follow suit.

The cleaner appearance is the result of improvements in our finishing process. Along with additional fatigue life, the new process enabled us to focus in on “Precision at the Cutting Tip” and deliver a much sharper tooth tip. Feedback from the field has already been positive with improved blade life and surface finish being key factors.

Having that cleaner look, our Wikus logo, QR code and sharper cutting edges on each tooth tip are things that benefit all of us in gaining and maintaining our customers.
