Wikus Saw is fortunate to have a very experienced production team, in both our Addison and Santa Fe Springs locations.

Our Addison location is our headquarters but our team in Santa Fe Springs, California is also an integral part of the Wikus Saw organization. In this issue we would like to introduce the leader of the production team in Santa Fe Springs.

Christopher A. Argote is the production manager in the Santa Fe Springs facility. However, many people on the Wikus Team would be unfamiliar with Christopher in Santa Fe Springs because he goes by Alex Argote. Alex is one of a select group of Wikus employees who started working at Wikus Saw right out of high school, as their fi rst full time job.

When Alex began his journey with Wikus, his father was working on the production team in Santa Fe Springs and Alex thought, “let me try this and see”.

In his 15 years, Alex has mastered the various functions involved in running our blade production. He started out being responsible for packaging and shipping. Alex’s experience grew as he learned the cutting and welding of the blades. In addition to the production process, Alex also contributes with managing the inventory in the Santa Fe Springs facility.

In his personal time, Alex is a devoted dad. He loves spending time with his 11 year old daughter, who he admits is defi nitely a “daddy’s girl”. Alex enjoys sports and not surprisingly, so does his daughter. Alex has even been successful at raising her as a Green Bay Packers fan!

When asking Alex about his time spent with Wikus Saw, he shared, “it was a good opportunity for him, to learn about our industry and the interesting products”. In looking back, Alex said, “I did not expect to be here for 15 years but it has been a good journey!”

We are thankful for Alex’s many years of service and are fortunate to have him on the Wikus team.
