The processes and systems involved with the manufacturing of our products must be consistent and efficient, as do the facilities within which we produce our products. Our headquarters in Addison, IL recently finished a new lighting project, which included the installation of all new LED fixtures throughout the building, as well as motion detector activated lighting.

With the installation of new LED fixtures, the facility in Addison is looking a bit brighter. Having the correct lighting is important when welding blades and the new brighter LED lighting is a noticeable improvement for our production personnel.

Wikus values taking care of our environment and wants to do our share in taking steps toward a greener future. LED lighting is 80% energy efficient, compared to 20% for conventional lighting, which translates to a lower electricity consumption. LED lights last longer, are free of toxic chemicals and are 100% recyclable, which means a reduction in our carbon footprint.
